Montgomery County: What to Expect in 2026

The Primary Election will be on June 30, 2026.

There are eleven Montgomery County Councilmembers – 7 District Councilmembers and 4 At-Large. Every registered voter votes for ONE District candidate and FOUR At-Large candidates. Which District do you live in? County Council Electoral Districts. 

I am your current County Councilmember for District 2. District 2 is the largest geographic district and includes Barnesville, Boyds, Clarksburg, Dickerson, Darnestown, Germantown, Hyattstown, and North Potomac. D2 also includes roughly two-thirds of our beautiful Agricultural Reserve.
